The FCI assessment contains 50 questions, allows two hours, permits multiple attempts and requires 75% to pass. Credentials are valid for 36 months, with no additional yearly FDTEC program fee.

Eligibility can be established through a recognized technical, industry, professional or occupational certification; at least one year of relevant professional experience; or employer verification of relevant expertise. The pathway is designed to recognize real professional capability without requiring candidates to start their careers over.

Standard FCI — Self-Paced: $1,497. FCI Capstone Verified — Self-Paced: $2,497. Organizational delivery is also available through Virtual Live at $3,297 and In-Person at $4,597 with a minimum of five starts.
