Microsoft Certified Trainers are the ONLY authorized professional trainers that can deliver Microsoft’s Official Content. There are a number of reasons to become a MCT. The MCT is one of Microsoft’s most prestigious bedrock certifications. How many MCTs are there?
Microsoft no longer releases this data. However in 2008-2009 there were roughly 14,000 MCT’s globally. The last known numbers reported was somewhere around 2017-2018 and there was a little less than 30,000 Microsoft Certified Trainers worldwide. Unfornatenly, this exclusive club is under the radar, therefore many Microsoft Professionals are not aware of the MCT Program, or How it works, The Incredible Benefits Associated with the Program or the Entry Requirements.
When compared to other Microsoft Certifications it is a no brainer. By the early 2,000’s there were well over 2 Million MCP’s. By 2008-2009 there were around 5 Million, and today that number has certainly expanded to close to 10-15 Million worldwide.
