What Happened to the Traditional MCT Instructional-Skills Course?
For many years, professionals pursuing Microsoft Certified Trainer status could satisfy the instructional-skills component of that pathway through approved external providers such as FDTEC.
Microsoft changed that model in 2026 and brought the relevant MCT instructional-development process under its own program.
FDTEC therefore no longer positions its professional instructor program as the former Microsoft MCT instructional-skills course.
