Would you suggest I work for a training provider, or corporation?

It depends on the environment you want. There are really good roles available as a freelancer. The pay is great, you work when you want, and the chance for travel and online delivery is growing daily. Many corporations required their in house trainers to hold a MCT. Coca-Cola is a great example of this requirements.

What time does the online course start?

Class starts @ 9:00 A.M. and ends @ 5:00 P.M.. check your local time for your start time.

What if I have a Microsoft fundamentals certification, can I qualify for the MCT certification?

Right now the Microsoft fundamentals certifications do not qualify you for MCT certification.

What does the job market look like for Microsoft Trainers?

There are many opportunities for MCT’s. Just do a google search on Azure technical trainers.

What are the basic requirements to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer?

Microsoft Certified Trainer Frequently Asked Questions. To become a Microsoft Certified Trainer you must hold a premier Microsoft certification, generally an associate level, You must also obtain an Instructional Skills Certification from an authorized provider like Fourth Dimension Technologies, Inc.

I prefer in person classes. What days and where are these classes offered?

We understand your preference. Due to the pandemic we have suspended our in person courses. When available they are run in Baltimore, Atlanta, and Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday the 2nd and 4th week of each month.

I am a woman. What’s the career opportunities for me?

The job market for women is excellent. Companies are looking for diversity and women make up only 30% of tech training space. So the opportunities are endless.

How many training jobs are available?

Good question. I do not know fully. I can tell you that the IT Training market is valued at 11B and the growth rate is 8.5%. The job openings for Data Analyst and Cybersecurity professionals exceed 6.5M and guess what someone has to train them.

How many days does the Virtual course run?

The Virtual Live Instructor-Led course runs 2-3 days and run from Friday-Sunday or Saturday and Sunday.

How does the self-Paced course work?

The self-Paced is our most popular course. After payment you will download the course and any additional documents. Students must complete and pass our online exam to receive their certificate of completions. Directions for the exam is included in document downloads.

Does the cost of the course cover any Microsoft fees?

No Microsoft requires a separate fee for the processing of your MCT application and activation. These fees are based on your Country/Region. Check Microsoft fee requirements page.

Do I need previous training experience to get my MCT?

No. There is a big misconception that you should or must have training experience. Training expertise comes with time. Training is a great way to break into the business for those that have not landed that dream job. Those with solid hands on technical skills can demand strong daily rate.

Microsoft Certifications and qualifications eligible for the MCT program are subject to change. All new role-based certifications will become eligible for the MCT Program once released.
