Applying Instructor Capability in This Professional Context

For years, technology professionals came to FDTEC looking for the requirements to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

FDTEC Certified Instructor™ builds on the technical, industry, professional, or real-world expertise you already possess.

You Already Have the Expertise. Now Build the Capability to Transfer It.

Microsoft controls MCT eligibility. Current qualifying credentials and onboarding requirements are determined by Microsoft.

MCT requirements changed in 2026. Do not rely on older third-party instructional-skills pathways as current Microsoft requirements.

Your technical expertise still matters. Certifications and professional experience remain valuable foundations for instructor development.

Professional instructor capability is broader than MCT. Communication, facilitation, coaching, questioning, presentation, and knowledge transfer travel across platforms.

AI is changing professional instruction. Capable instructors increasingly need to know how to use AI effectively without surrendering professional judgment.

KTE™ moves beyond content delivery. The objective is understanding, application, and capability.

Capstone Verified adds applied validation. Strengthen the evidence behind professional instructor capability.

Requirements can change. Professional instructor capability remains a durable career asset.

Microsoft now determines the current Microsoft Certified Trainer enrollment pathway directly. Because MCT is a Microsoft program, candidates should use Microsoft's current MCT documentation as the authoritative source for qualifying credentials, onboarding, program requirements, fees, and renewal conditions.

Microsoft Certified Trainer is Microsoft's credential. Microsoft determines:

FDTEC Certified Instructor™ is FDTEC's cross-platform professional instructor certification.

It is designed to complement your existing subject-matter expertise while developing the professional capabilities required to teach, facilitate, coach, communicate, and transfer knowledge effectively.
